July 24, 1951 - July 1, 2026

All are invited to celebrate her beautiful life and her homecoming to Heaven. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville, TN. The family will receive friends from Noon to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Dean Mullins, will start at 2:00 p.m., and burial will immediately follow at Dotson Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sending condolences and love to the Orr family. My memories of Aunt Vona was how she could light up a room with her loving and caring spirit. I remember the few times that I got to see her in church. I remember how she smiled and laughed and she would have a brightness surrounding her. The song that I love that she would sing to the children This little light of mine. I loved that song ! Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Aunt Vona light is still shining! Love you all!
