The family will receive friends 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Friday November 24, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Scott Kidd officiating. The burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Lakeview Cemetery: City Park Dr, Lenoir City, TN 37772.

John Wayne Jenkins, 64 of Maryville / Lenoir City, went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2023. He was one of the biggest bull shitters! He was always in good spirits and was a kind person that was loved by so many. He loved his family, horses, and his trading buddies. He was preceded in death by parents: JD and Martha Jenkins, sister: Frances, infant sister, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife: Loretta Jenkins, brothers: Roy, Ralph, and Allen, sisters: Donna, Sheila, Margaret, Margie, and Barbara, several nieces, and nephews.
