The family will receive friends Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Ronnie Hepperly officiating, and burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Maryville, Tennessee. The family would like to “Thank each of you for the support, love, prayer shown during this time.”

Hubert Allen Borden, age 80 of Maryville, Tennessee went to be with his Lord and Savior on 7th day of January, 2026. Hubert was very loved by his wife, family, community, as well as his beloved cats. After serving his country in the Vietnam War he started towing and never stopped. Because he loved the towing business, for more than 40 years, Hubert owned and operated, “Airport Motor Mile Wrecker Service.” Hubert had made many lifelong friends in the towing community. After a hard day of work, you could find him watching a Western or NASCAR. Hubert had many hobbies such as his love for fishing, fishing with his bass fishing buddies, feeding his flying squirrels and every stray cat he found, as well as dirt car racing. Throughout the years he owned multiple late model dirt cars. Hubert was a great, loving and caring man. Lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be missed by everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents: Carl and Mattie Tucker Borden, sisters: Ruth Ann Russell, and Pat Borden Dolinger, brothers: Lee, Frank, and Ronald Borden. He is survived by his loving and caring wife: Sue Borden, daughters: Melissa “Missy” Borden Vincent (Herb), and Susan Norton (Bobby), granddaughters: Bethany Watson and Jessica Chambers, great grandson: Branson Babb, and special sisters-in-law: Ann Mckee, Lois Dyke, Wilma Myers, Betty Walker, Cindy Borden, and Nellie Borden, brothers-in-law: Ronnie Brown, Bobby Brown, Bobby Dyke, H.E. Meyers, and Lesley Russell. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends to mourn his passing.
