Dear Glenda, we are all heatbroken here at Maple Lane Farms. -- not just myself, but my daughter and the many farm workers and vendors that support the farm and have grown to know Howard and have loved Howard for his candor, kindness, humor, love, music and generosity. Howard was my first call when Albert was passing. You were both so very helplful and supportive that night. And, prior to that, Howard was my first call for a lot of things! We miss his greatly. Knowing Howard, he is in the loving hands of Jesus and free from any pain and suffering. He fought the good fight. We will always love Howard W. Alexander! God Bless His Soul.

I have no words for this one. Not truly. Howard Alexander was one of the best people that I have ever had the privilege of working with. And knowing. I can't tell you how blessed I feel to have had this wonderful man in my life. Compassionate, fiercely intelligent, talented. He was my mentor. He taught me that EMS was more than just running calls. It was about the faces behind the numbers. People. That's what mattered. Be humble. Be kind. Be courageous. Do whatever it takes to ease suffering and save a life. Ask for forgiveness later. ❤️ He made those 530 pm to 540 am shifts worth it. And the 1pm to 1 am swings a blast! Man. I'm going to miss you. He kept me going when I thought that I couldn't. I spent a lot of my career wanting to be the kind of medic that he was. More than all of that. He was my friend. Always. No matter what. He had my back. I'm so grateful to have met you and have had you in my life. I'm praying 🙏 for his family. Especially his sweet wife, Glenda Rest easy, brother. Thank you for everything. Until we meet again on the "hot truck"
