Family will receive friends from 5 PM – 7 PM Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service at 7 PM in the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 6, 2026, at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Chief was a great friend. I will never forget our Bible studies, our rides in the mountains, our occasional trips to see wrestling or concerts. He was a true man of God. Will be sadly missed by many. RIP Chief

I have been reading a lot of wonderful memories of dennis and quietly mourning the loss of a true friend. He was the first real friend I made when I moved to Tennessee and has always been there for me. I am heartbroken.. you were a good man and I wish I could get one more of your hugs. Thank-you for always being there for me and I wish I could have been there for you. I will miss you every day till I see you again. Thank-you for everything..

Dennis was a family friend as long as I can remember. He truly cared about people and helped them when he could. I hope that he's riding a jeweled harley on a street of gold. Godspeed, sir. Peace at last.

To learn of your passing has left a hole in our hearts only you could fill. It's so sad to hear how it came about. You will never ever be bullied again by such a cruel human. I do know Jesus has you wrapped in his loving and accepting arms now. You are rejoicing with other Angels like you. So spread your wings and fly over the glorious heaven so many times you have described my brother in Christ. My prayers will be with your family and to all that dearly loved Chief. I am so sorry to hear about Dennis passing. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends. We went to high school together and stayed in close touch through all the years. I loved riding my motorcycle to Maryville and meet up with him and go riding through the Smokies. RIP my brother. Give Jesus a hug for me

I've been friends with Dennis my whole life; he was one of the best friends anyone could ask for. Always there for you, kind, loyal and giving. A true man of God. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. RIP Chief
