Memorial service will be held Sunday, June 13, 3:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Gatlinburg. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Sevier County Food Ministry or First Baptist Church of Gatlinburg, in the memory of Bill Cox, would be appreciated.

William “Bill” Huff Cox born May 14, 1939, passed in peace at the age of 82 on June 5, 2021, at his home in Seymour. He was preceded in death by his Father William “Bill” Gilford Cox, Mother Stella Sue Huff Cox, and wife, Charlene Allen Cox. Survived by son William Keith Cox and wife Jannette, daughter Katherine Cox Williams and husband Terrell, daughter Mary Kay Cox King and husband Clark, daughter Kelly Cox McCarter, step son Jason Freeman, former wife and cherished friend Mary Alice Dunn Cox and Sister-in-Law Kim Allen. Grandfather of Elizabeth Klick and husband Jeff, Stephanie Bible and fiancé Cale Faircloth, Kristopher Bible and wife Jodi, William Dryse Bible and wife Nicole, Hannah King and fiancé Kaleb West, William “Will” King, Jessica McCarter Phelps and husband Daryl, Sarah McCarter Wilson and husband Andrew, Chase Freeman and wife Sarah, Gage, Cole and Haven Freeman. Great-grandfather of Avery and Noel Klick, Jack Collier, Sam and Cameron Faircloth, Nora Bible, Dryse and Rex Bible, Carson and Ethan Phelps, Hunter, Tucker and Garrett Wilson and Harper Freeman. Brother of Sam Cox (wife Bonnie) and Connie Cox Walker (husband Arne). Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Kim Allen for the attention and care she has given to our father.
