my sister jean wells lived in 513 right across the hall from bill. she passed this march. we always loved sammy until he passed along. bill played with jeans little dog daisy a lot. we always liked him. jean had me make him a poster on the outside of his door so people would know not to let him out. he will be missed so sorry for your loss. wayne and family

This memory of Burl goes back many years. He was probably in very early 20's. Late one night there was a knock on my grandmother's door. When she opened the door, there stood Burl and he asked if he could come in. She said she could tell something was bothering him. He came in and just as soon as he stepped into the living room he blurted out "Aunt Bessie, I need to be saved!!!" My grandmother and Burl knelt down by the couch, prayed and Burl asked the Lord to save him. My grandmother and his Aunt Bessie were Uncle Will's sister-Bessie Boring Whitehead. Praying God will comfort Burl's family and friends.
