Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday October 31, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801 with Revs. Ronnie Reagan and James Effler officiating. The family and friends will meet at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday November 1, 2023, at Grandview Cemetery for graveside and burial service. The Family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Virginia Lee Effler June 18, 1940 – October 27, 2023. Virginia Effler peacefully departed this life on October 27, 2023. The only thing that surpassed the love for her family is the love she had for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She genuinely devoted her whole life to loving and caring for her many friends and family. She was a member of Green Meadow Church of God and leaves behind her husband of 67 years, James Robert Effler. She is survived by her children James Dale Effler (Tracy), Carol Jean Poole (Tim), Tony Lynn Effler (Sheena), grandchildren Stephanie Effler, Alicia Smith (Matt), Kelly Green (Eli), Hannah Effler, Levi Owens (Hannah)and Haley Owens, and eight great-grandchildren.
