Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday November 30, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Crowe officiating. The family and friends will meet at Memorial Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon Saturday December 1, 2018 to proceed to Shady Grove Cemetery for a 1:00 P.M. Graveside Service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Virginia Marie Sands age 69 of Greenback passed away Monday November 26, 2018 at U. T. Hospital in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her Parents: William Michaels and Blanche Pierce, Her second Husband: Tom Roberts, Her Sisters: Sherry Garland, and Carolyn Hardin. She is survived by her Husband: James Sands, Her Children: Mike (Debbie) Word, Tammy (Tony) Delph, Jamie (John) Fine, and Travis (Darlene) Sands, 15 Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren, Special friend Terry Stinnett.
