Funeral services will be held 7 P.M. Thursday March 17, 2022at Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Boring officiating. Family and friends will all meet 10:00 A.M. Friday March 18, 2022 at Zion Chapel Cemetery for a graveside service. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

Trula Mae (McCarter) Greene of Friendsville passed away at Blount Memorial Hospital on March 14, 2022 at the age of 77. She had many talents such as: sewing, cooking, and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and she will be greatly missed by all of them. She is preceded in death by her parents: LeAnder and Annie Jane (Ledbetter) Mcarter, great granddaughter: Emilee Renee Hall, brother: Calvin John McCarter, sisters: Martha Pearl Tucker, Iva Pauline Lundy, and Myrtle Marie Ray. She leaves behind the love of her life of 61 years her husband: Leonard Greene, daughters: Rose Anna (Ricky) Boring of Maryville, Loretta (Pete) Lang of Maryville, Robin(Sam) Lee of Friendsville, and Rhonda (James) Patty of Friendsville, her precious grandchildren: Matthew Lang of Kodak, Ashley (Richard) Proffitt of Maryville, Brittany Taylor of Lenoir City, Kristin Hall of Friendsville, Katie Boring of Maryville, and Samantha Lee of Friendsville, 10 great grandchildren, sisters: Lou Greene of Friendsville, Crittie Krieger of Maryville, many nieces and nephews, and special neighbors: Mike and Sonia Roberson.
