Service Date November 4, 2017
Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday November 3, 2017 at Hickory Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Carpenter and Rev. Danny Kelley officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 P.M. Saturday at Hickory Valley Church to proceed to Marble Hill Cemetery for a 2:00 P.M. graveside service. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the church.

Stephen Allen Michels, 45, passed away suddenly at home on October 31, 2017. He was an active member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his Father: Michael Phipps, Grandparents: Betty Dulin and John Phipps, In-laws: Ralph and Rose Garner and Ron White, and Sister-in-law: Debbie Garner. He is survived by his Wife: Donna, Stepsons: Bobby (Dana) Lynch, and Eric (Emily) Lynch, Grandchildren: Lucas, Grace, and Ellis, Mother: Betty (Tim) Braden, Sister: Jolois Hill, Brothers-in-law: Gary Garner, Marty White, Steven White, Jim (Mary Jo) Garner, Tom (Betty) Garner, Ken (Mary) Garner, Ralph (Sandy) Garner, Curt Strong, Sisters-in-law: Dana (Max) Hernandez, Peggy (Chuck) Weyer, Liz (Rob) Stas, Ann (Randy) Sundberg, Deanna (Tim) O’Brien, Theresa (Joe) Dugger, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and special little buddy: Blake Biggar.
