March 17, 1934 - August 29, 2022
Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Wednesday August 31, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Burns and Rev. Quinton Barbra officiating. Family and friends will all meet 10:30 A.M. Thursday September 1, 2022, at Keeble’s Chapel Cemetery for graveside service. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude or Children’s Hospital in his memory.

Sidney Glenn Ogle, born March 17, 1934, has made his final journey to peaceful rest on August 29, 2022. He was a 10 year veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a Pastor for many years, who would help everyone in the community. He was also a Chaplin with the Knoxville Volunteer Rescue Squad. He was preceded in death by parents: Ester and Jack Ogle, and daughter: Sidney Nicole Thompson. He is survived by Barbara his wife of 48 years, daughter: Sheri (Steve) Russell, Ame (Todd) Hazlewood, Heather Abdella, son: David (Torie) Ewing, grandchildren: Cory Williams, Stephanie Landers, Haley Ewing, Sarah Russell, Zoie Godwin, Jesse Ewing, Trevor Abdella, Kobe Franklin, Cooper Thompson, Jacob and John Ewing, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
