I was a caregiver and friend to Shirley. Her and her family always made me feel so loved. Shirley and I shared many a story on gardening, cooking and crafting. We both loved poke plant salad and green onions. Her gift for crafting was beyond words. I will deeply miss our long conversations. I love you Shirley and go rest high with the angels.

Shirley will be missed by her friends at Broadway Towers. She was a wonderful woman, Mamaw (Charlotte Sylvia) called her a sexy senior-ager because of her purple hair color one summer. When she came to bingo she one more games than anyone else. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

A million and one memories with you still doesn’t feel like it will ever be enough. I’ll miss you for the entire remainder of my life and I’ll always be loving you as well as my boys will ❤️ I know you’re already enjoying heaven! God finally got the most Angelic woman I’ve ever known. Thank you for choosing to be my momma too. I love you!
