Service Date July 24, 2023
The family will receive friends 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Monday July 24, 2023, at Dripping Springs Baptist Church: 1837 Dripping Springs Rd., Seymour, TN 37865. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Mike Segal and Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family request flowers be delivered to Dripping Springs Baptist Church for the service on Monday.

Singing with the angels, free from pain we know that our mother, Shirley Abbott is in heaven July 17, 2023. Momma enjoyed life, raised six children, and her beautiful granddaughter. She was a member of FCE – Family and Community Education, and Dripping Springs Baptist Church. If she couldn’t fish, she could be seen sewing, crafting, or completing puzzles. She loved spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by Rudy Abbott husband of 45 years, Charles Harmon husband of 15 years, son Robert Harmon, father Charlie Willix, mother Annie Bell Willix, and siblings Ruby, Billy and Bobby. She is survived by children, Arbedella Womack, Charles Wade Harmon, Stanley Harmon, Samuel Harmon, John Abbott, Nicole Green. Grandchildren Johnny Harmon, Sandi Harmon, Garrett Harmon, Gabriel Harmon, Aaron Harmon, Andrew Harmon and Robert Harmon and several great grandchildren.
