Sharon (Sherry) Ann Garner passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at 8:43PM at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN at the age of 67. Sherry was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, but most importantly she was a beloved daughter of God, and faithful servant and worshipper of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Knouff, mother, Bobbie Wolfenbarger Knouff-Roberts, and brother Mike Knouff. Sherry leaves behind her husband of 25 years, Mark Garner, her children and their families, grandchildren, great-grandson, 4 siblings and their families, and friends. Sherry was truly anointed by God to touch countless lives through her gift of music. Since she was a young girl, she was singing and playing piano as a ministry to the Lord, traveling to churches weekly. She later began writing and singing songs that have ministered to the hearts of so many, drawing people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Although she had the privilege to sing before men, her deepest desire was to sing before the Lord and to pour out her praises on Him. Sherry exemplified the pure heart of worship, and now she is singing praises before her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “I will praise you Lord my God with all my heart. I will glorify your name forever.” (Psalms 86:12)
