Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 24, 2022, at Cold Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.

Rita Lou McClanahan, age 77, born August 4, 1945, and entered the gates of Heaven on October 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by father and mother: Dave and Esta Butler, 8 brothers, and 4 sisters. She was a member of Cold Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Walland, TN. She is survived by husband of 59 years: Richard McClanahan, sons: Eddie (Tanya) McClanahan and Tony McClanahan, grandchildren: Amanda (Travis) Cotten, Whitney McClanahan, and Lauren McClanahan, great grandchildren: Macie Cotten and Lincoln James, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
