Rita Garland, 77 of Townsend, went to be with the Lord December 17, 2018. She was a member of Friendly Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by Son: Tom Garland. She is survived by Husband of 56 years: Fred Garland, Son and Daughter-in-law: Bruce and Shelby Garland, and Daughter-in-law: Lora Garland, Grandchildren: Quentin Garland, Melinda Edgar, Derek Garland, Julie Garland, and John Garland, and 6 great grandchildren.
