Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday April 17, 2024, in the Sherwood Memorial Gardens Chapel with Zack Lange officiating. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Young Williams Animal Shelter. www.young-williams.org.

Phyllis D. Graves, age 85 of Maryville, TN, passed away April 12, 2024. Phyllis was born in Eidson, TN in 1938. Her family moved to Maryville in 1943, when her father got a job at Alcoa. She graduated from Everett High School class of ’57. She was a member of St. Johns Methodist Church. She lived, worked, and raised her family in Maryville. She worked many jobs, but her favorite was selling clothes at Mintons Department Store. Phyllis was a beautiful person inside and out. She loved kids and animals and always pulled for the underdog. Survivors include two children: Mike Loveday and wife Angie, Becca “Buffy” Moore and husband Jon, grandchildren: Jamie Lange, Mikkie Inman, Summer Dürr, Gage and Seth Moore, great grandchildren: Luke, Seth, Lily, Titus, Natalee, Gracee, Preston, and Greyson. Brother: Alvin, and Wife: Susan, Sister-in-law: Mary Trent. She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Winnie Anderson, daughter: Penny Loveday, and brother: Bruce Trent.
