Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday October 14, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville. Receiving of family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
The family and friends will meet at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday October 15, 2024, at Old Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside service.

Steve, Missy and family, I am very sorry for your great loss, Janie was a very nice lady and I’m sure that she will leave a huge void in your hearts, you all will be in my thoughts and prayers ! I don’t have enough words in my vocabulary to express how deeply sorry that I am!!

Aunt Janie was always beautiful. She helped make my childhood fun with her outgoing personality, love of adventure fueled by her imagination, and love of children. She made the best out of everything life had given her and her strength was always an obvious quality which I always admired. She was the kind of aunt I have aspired to be. Fun, fair, loving, strong, with a gentle heart, and a firm hand. Though I'll never measure up to the standards she set before me, I'll keep trying. After all, she was one of a kind.
