Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend to many. Odessa Jane “Janie” Amburn of Maryville passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love, on Monday October 7, 2024. Her legacy is that of a fierce, loyal, loving, and dedicated mother, grandmother, wife, and sister. In life she loved her soap operas, playing cards, good music, and time with her family. She was a determined and hardworking woman of faith. She graduated from the Tennessee school of beauty and opened her own business, J & S salon. At times she also cared for the elderly and fostered children. She was a firecracker with a heart of gold. The selflessness, unconditional love, and values she displayed in life will influence her family for generations to come. To say she will be missed is a profound understatement. She is proceeded in death by her beloved son Jerry Lynn Hannah Jr., Mother, Elizabeth, brothers; Wesley, R.F, Buddy, and Roger, sisters; Juanita, Linda, and Mildred.
