Her friends and family will meet at Grandview Cemetery at 3:00 on Wednesday March 1, 2023 for a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blount County Animal Shelter.

Myrtle A. Chambers (Anne), 84, passed away Saturday February 25, 2023 at UT Medical Center after struggling with several illnesses in recent years. Anne was born in Lockesburg, Arkansas on August 25, 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband James Chambers, daughter Carol Maples, parents John D. and Myrtle Hill, brother John D. Hill, Jr., and sisters Marguerite McCown and Lois Tyler. She is survived by sons, Glenn Tolleson, Jr. (Debbie), Marc Tolleson (Tafie), David Tolleson (Joy), son-in-law Danny Maples, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that were dear to her. She professed faith in Jesus Christ and has gone home to rest in Him. Her greatest joys were spoiling her grandchildren and pets, working in her flower beds, and telling (or hearing) a good story or joke. The family wishes to give special thanks to April Drake for providing compassionate care to Anne during her later years.
