Hate that I missed this. Breaks my heart I didn’t have one more time to talk to him. I know he is in a better place now and he is definitely one person I look forward to seeing when I get to heaven. Oh my dear Mickey how you’re dearly missed and loved! He was my bus driver at Rockford elementary bus #9. No matter what he always could put a smile on my face. He would let me come up early before my stop and sit up front near the window! Always had to get me and say “look there’s a deer!” I would say”WHERE?!” and he would smile and laugh and say “i got you again kiddo” Praying for this family, my condolences!

Mikey was my bus driver (BUS # 2) during my elementary days at Montvale. He was such a kind soul and a ray of sunshine! I looked forward to seeing him every day! He will always hold a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will truly be missed! Rest in peace Mickey!
