Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Even though our hearts are aching at this time, let's remember Michael's love for his family, his music, and the mountains. His willingness to share his joy and gift of music with others, by helping them to learn to play an instrument, or always coming equipped to play / sing at family visits or other occasions. He's also left a long standing piece of himself in the mountains by the homes he constructed, and the friends that he made. We all have our own special memories of our dear Michael and how his relationship with us has touched our hearts and lives. Yes we will grieve our loss, but let's not forget to celebrate the loving, caring person that he was, by sharing those fond memories. Even if they bring a tear to our eye, it can also bring us some joy and laughter that can heal our hearts. Rest in peace, my dear 'Mika Moka'. I can't wait to see you again in the resurrection. Much love and gratitude. ~Jo Jo❤️

Uncle Mike, I wanted to say thank you for helping be a father figure when I was alone as a child and helping my mother (your sister) all the time. I mainly remember the most when I was growing up when we all visited with each other. You showing me your music which contributed to my passion for music as well, playing the guitar for us, and when you knew I started playing bass guitar, you always asked about it and wanted to play together. I wish I could have seen you more in my adulthood. Seeing you at my sisters wedding and hearing you play and sing was such an amazing thing to see after moving back home to be with family. I know that was over 3 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday and being able to see and hug you and hold on to that most recent memory. I love you so much. Be at peace. To my amazing family and also friends of my amazing Uncle Mike. I am so sorry for this loss. I understand what you are going through and I am here for you if you ever need anything. I wish I could have physically been there so we could support each other physically. I love you all more than you know. Please take care of yourselves and thank you for all the amazing memories that will continue to happen. Again, I love you all. Uncle Mike...I can't wait to hear you play me some music when I see you again. Love, Robert Lipari

I will always smile when I remember Mike & I playing rock & roll in our band The Chosen Few, and our many vacations in Tennessee with this family. Mike & I grew up with the best music ever written. The world is a sadder place without him. Love you Mike, Patti & Eddie
