The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m., with Bishop Jeff Coleman officiating. Michael will be laid to rest on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Crossroads Tabernacle Cemetery. The family and any guests will meet at 3:00 p.m. at the cemetery.

Sandy, although we did not get to see you for many years, your family was very special to us. Mom had pictures of Michael you had sent to her over the years. He was a fine young man. I had been praying for him since I heard about his diagnosis, believing God for a miracle. I did not know he had passed away until now. Remember he is not in your past; he is in your future. He will be waiting for you and the family who loved him so much. May God hold you close in the days ahead.

Sandy, You are in my thoughts and prayers. Losing Michael has to be a devastating loss of all losses. Everything I have heard about him was so positive. May God bring you peace during this time.

I always remember Michael being the most kind person. He grew up with little brother and would stay the night with us. Sandy did a great job raising such a good son! He was always a joy to be around and he will be greatly missed! I’m so glad to know he is resting with Jesus!! Cousins are just little brothers m sisters so we will all have a void with his passing. I love you all❤️💔
