Graveside Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Kenny Hammons officiating. The family will receive friends at Memorial Funeral Home: 1102 Big Springs Rd Maryville, TN 37801, from 12:30 to 2:30 Tuesday afternoon and all will meet at Sherwood at 3:00 P.M.

Mary Lou Johnson, 95 of Maryville, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mildred and Ellis (Bo) Smith, husband: JP Johnson, sister: Bonnie Hubbs, sisters-in-law: Hazel Smith and Betty Smith, and brother-in-law: Tom Moore. She is survived by Brenda and John Tomassoni, Steve Johnson, Tony and Sharon Johnson, grandchildren: Tammy Mersino, Stephanie and Dave Key, Tony and Genna Johnson, Matt and Mattie Johnson, 6 grandchildren, brothers: Johnnie and Jack Smith, sisters: France Moore and Sandy Smith, and brother-in-law: Wayne Hobbs. Mary Lou was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church, although she will be deeply missed by her loved ones, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior, an Angel has gained her wings.
