Davita was my first job when we moved to Tennessee from Georgia and Ruth was my favorite patient. She was a happy delight to care for regardless of how she felt. I loved her and we continued our friendship even after I quit the clinic. We had some happy times together on my visits to see her. She will be sadly missed but her suffering is over and she is with the angels. Good bye my sweet friend.

We called her our adopted grandmother but she was also one of my closest friends. So easy to talk to, understanding, loving, caring, generous & funny—- Always laughing despite not feeling well. She & Jim both, were always supportive & willing to help Anyone. She will be greatly missed but I am thankful God placed her in our life & we have the memories that we will cherish forever! . We Love You Granny Ruth.❤️ ~ Tabitha, SaraGrace, & Clay

How we will miss our Ruthie! She shined so brightly in this dark world. She endured so much, but never complained. To know her was to love her, and to be loved by her. She uplifted everyone who came in contact with her by her indomitable spirit and her awesome sense of humor. She was one of God’s chosen. Rest in peace our sweet, sweet angel. (Jack and Tommie Peck)

Ruth was an beautiful soul, I am proud to have called her my friend. She was the living example of true love and compassion for all living things.

I met Ruth through taking my mother, Eva Hatcher, to Davita Dialysis. She was an immediate friend. Ruth prayed with each person in the clinic and was always a positive, upbeat presence. No matter what she endured personally, her light continued to shine. I know Jesus is so proud of her! Well done,, Ruth!!! A life well lived. You will be missed. May you all find comfort in knowing she is in the arms of Jesus.
