Obituaries

Margrett “Ruth” Heilman, 80, of Maryville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.  Ruth was born on April 18, 1943, in Muncie, Indiana.  She was the youngest of three children of Delbert Tinch and Velma (Gunter) Kelley.  Ruth was married to James “Jim” Heilman on December 3, 1982.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Hershel Tinch, and wife Linda, her sister Winnie Joyce Delong and husband Dee. Ruth is survived by her only child Tony Arnold and wife Cindy, Granddaughters Chrissy Clenney (Wes), Kelly Jo Windle (Kevin), Four great-grandchildren Carson Crouch, Caden Windle, Cameron Windle and Zach Stout.  Ruth was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Greenback, Tennessee.  She spent many years in Food and Beverage Services at the Airport Hilton, owned and operated restaurants, and her last 11 years of employment were as a massage therapist at Blackberry Farms.  Ruth was everything to everybody. She always wanted to help someone in need and expected nothing in return. She liked to laugh and make others do the same.  She tried to make others feel loved, cared for, and important. She truly loved God and loved people, especially her family and great-grandchildren.  Above all, she was a friend to all.
