Marcia Lynn Brown Carter, age 62, of Alcoa, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Marcia was CEO and project manager of Buckhead Construction Company. She was preceded in death by her son Joshuwa Self and sister Alice Brown. Marcia is survived by her husband David Carter, mother Marie Brown, daughter Nadea Rule (Robbie), stepson Joshua Carter, stepdaughter Candace Hunt (Matthew), and grandchildren Audrey and Jack Hunt. She leaves behind her brother, Charles Brown (Janet) and sister Linda Gibson (Randy) along with her nephews, special friends Frank and Jodi Self, Edward Nicholson and the entire Buckhead Construction family, cherished friends and extended loved ones.
