Macolm Inman passed away unexpectedly, August 7, 2026, at Blount Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his infectious laugh and willingness to help anybody when needed. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and driving. He was a graduate of Walland High School and worked 34 years until retirement at Vulcan Materials. Malcolm was predeceased by his parents: Stanley Inman and Betty Buchanan, and brother: Shan Inman. He leaves behind his soulmate and loving wife of 28 years: Betty Garland Inman, precious daughter: Amy (Angela), sons: Tyler and Josh, stepchildren: Jimmy (Misty) and Steven Gooden, granddaughter Avery, step-grandchildren: JJ and Chase, sisters: Macheala (Tony), Jeanette (David), brother: Porky (Kim), several nieces and nephews, best friends: Jeff Robertson, and brother-in-law: Troy Garland to mourn his passing.
Cremation services were handled under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, Maryville, Tennessee.
