Mrs. Lorraine Catherine Blakely Zickefoose, age 88, of Alcoa, peacefully entered her Heavenly Home on February 7, 2026. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Lorraine later moved to Tennessee where she and her husband, Arlo B. Zickefoose, Sr., began their family and built a life rooted in love, faith, and service. A devoted Catholic, Lorraine dedicated many decades to serving as a Sacristan at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She also worked alongside her husband as co-owner of Unique Marble Company until her retirement. Her strong work ethic and commitment to her community were matched only by the deep love she poured into her family. Lorraine was known for her kindness, nurturing spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her greatest joy was raising her children and watching her many grandchildren grow. Nothing brought her more happiness than a home filled with family, especially during holidays, celebrations, and the many gatherings she cherished. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Gerald Blakely, Sr.; her beloved husband, Arlo B. Zickefoose, Sr.; her children Steven Zickefoose, Arlo B. Zickefoose, Jr., Michael A. Zickefoose, Mildred Bunn, Rebecca Z. Zickefoose, and John J. Zickefoose; baby sister Judy Blakely Merrill; and several brothers. Lorraine is survived by her loving son Francis (Debbie) Zickefoose; closest grandchildren Kimberly (Michael) Baker, Francis (Rebecca) Zickefoose, Jr., Dale (Amy) Pack, Jason (Mary) Zickefoose, Brittnay (James) Hall, and Bretlyn (Chase) McLain; great-grandchildren Jared Baker, Tyler Baker, Hunter (Victoria) Baker, Mason and Anabelle Zickefoose, Joshua and Madison Quinn, Christine and Danielle Hall, and Kolbie Rae McLain; and great-great-granddaughter Kaliyah Baker. She is also survived by one brother, two sisters, and several additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
