Lester Caughron, 67 of Rockford, passed away January 15, 2022 at home, retired after 30 years from Rockford MSG, CO. Farmed until health issues occurred, a man always willing to help anyone, hung out at Four Corners Market until his illness put him homebound. Preceded in death by parents: J.B. and Rosie Caughron, sisters: Reba Kerr, and Halley Irwin, nieces: Tammy Swiney and Missy Kerr, nephew: Baby Jimmy Irwin. Survived by sons: Jeff (Lisa), Tim (Becky) Caughron of Maryville, grandson: Tyler, granddaughters: Megan and Tracie, great grandchildren: Blair and Theo, Heart/Son Jackie Sise, sisters: Helen (David) Mcgill, Trula (Richard) Reagan, Dorcus (Rick) Jenkins, brother-in-law: James Irwin all of Rockford, special great Nephew/Care giver: Draven Coada, BONUS brother: Ronnie (Pat) Orrick Ruttledge, BONUS sisters: Shirley Jones of Knoxville, Brenda Wells of Walland. A special thanks to hospice workers (Evan Alderson, Heather, Monica, Peyton) for their great care. Special thanks to Blount County Officer James Taylor for going above and beyond his duties to help Lester in a power outage, and other officers that helped at another time assisting him into a bed after a fall. Many other special people Caleb, Robbie, Eric and cousin Randy Snyder. Extra special thanks to Dennis Lee, we will forever be grateful for all you did for Lester.
