Obituaries

Karen Coleman Madden, age 84, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2022, in Maryville, TN. Karen loved her family and also loved to travel, especially cruises. Karen loved to do crafts and was especially fond of miniature houses and stores, winning a place in a magazine competition for a miniature flower shop.    Karen was preceded in death by her husband Dean Madden, parents Andrew (AJ) and Virginia Coleman and son in law Larry Stephens.  Karen is survived by her son Coleman Welch, daughters: Lee Stephens, Sandy (David) Price, Lisa (Edward) Hill all of Maryville, TN and stepsons Dean (Laurie) Madden and Glenn (Christine) Madden of Ontario Canada.  Karen is survived by her 10 grandchildren: Joshua (Bandi) Welch, Shanna (Rick) Stover, Chelsea Stephens, Alex (Chelsea) Price, Zackary (Lauren) Welch all of Maryville, TN, Bradley (Rebecca) Price of Collierville, TN, and Kimberly Madden, Carolyn (Riley) Evans, Courtney (Dan) Murphy and Michael Madden from Ontario Canada, and her brother, Jack Coleman of Maryville, TN.  Special thank you to the staff of Clover Hill Assisted Living for their care of Karen.
