Burial is private. A memorial service will be held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church on April 27 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Friends of the Smokies or Pat Summitt Foundation Fund.

June Martin Gray Alley passed away March 28, 2024, with her family by her side. She glorified God through her life, faith, and charity. June’s kind and gentle soul truly revealed the heart of Jesus. June was born on February 18, 1935. She attended Old Knox High and Fulton High School. June was a graduate of the UT College of Nursing and made a career at UT Hospital specializing in the care and education of heart patients. June was preceded in death by her husband Tom Alley, parents Herbert and Virginia Martin, brother Maurice and twin brother Jerry Martin. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Shouse (Ed), son Dan Gray, grandchildren Joe Shouse and Haley Miller, and great granddaughter Violet Miller, sister Patrice Smith (Gary), brother Gary Martin, step children Carolyn Alley, Mike Alley, Pat Alley, Tommy Alley, Joel Alley and Claire Stone, special friend Gene Lee, and beloved kitty, Sugar. June was raised in the Methodist faith and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
