Family will receive friends between 10:00 A.M and noon Wednesday January 19, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 12:30, at Forest Hill Cemetery with Ronny Everett officiating.

Sarah Juanita Harris Everett Robertson born May 9, 1935, in Good Springs, TN., near Etowah passed from this life Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN as a result of numerous health complications. Born near Etowah, TN and moving to Blount County at an early age, Juanita, known to friends and family as “Tead” came to love sports, and played as a forward on the Everett High School girls basketball team. After graduation she met and married her first husband William Dale Everett in 1957. Both she and Dale enjoyed following the UT Lady Vols Basketball team and held season passes for decades, regularly attending games in Knoxville and traveling to watch Pat Summitt and the UT women play ball. She and Dale also enjoyed playing Pinochle twice a week at the Everett Senior Citizens Center. The couple shared 54 years together until his passing in 2011. Juanita once again joined her friends at the Everett Center to play cards twice a week, where she met her second husband Ben Myers Robertson, whom she married in 2018. She and Ben traveled in Europe and the US. until Ben’s decline in health and Juanita became a totally devoted full time care provider until Ben’s death in August 2021. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Jess & Lucy Harris, sister Betty Griffin, brothers Robert “Red” Harris and Harold Harris; first husband William Dale Everett and second husband Ben Robertson. She is survived by sister Jean Gilliand, son & daughter-in-law Ronny and Jan Everett, son Dennis Everett, grandchildren Sabra Plemons, Nick Everett, Wendi Walker and Chad Davis; great grandchildren Parker Everett, Ella Rose Plemons, Hope Huett and Grace Huett; several nieces and family members, including those especially dear to her, Debbie & Claude Scarbrough and David & Betty Jo Pesterfield as well as dear friends Nadine Bracken and Cathy Phillips, and Dorothy Yearout. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Gideon’s International or Second Harvest Food Bank.
