Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 25, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801 with Pastor Tommy Boring officiating, the burial will follow at Old Piney Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2 :00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Joshua T. Jones, 42 of Maryville passed away at UT Medical Center on February 21, 2023. Josh was born in Lenoir City, TN on December 26, 1980, to Sandra F. Hendrix and James F. Jones. Josh worked at Denso for 13 years and developed many friendships there. He loved working on guns and target shooting with his son Dustin. He would sit for hours with Tommy “Poppy” and talk about guns and politics. Josh was a loving and amazing husband to Kristie and a wonderful father, and peepaw. Among some of the most important people in his life were his mother-in-law Mary “Nanny”, Chris Downey “Sissy”, his best friend and brother-in-law Drew Downey. Josh is survived by his wife and love of his life Kristie Jones, sons Dustin Walker and wife Kayla, daughter Jessica Hall and Ron, daughter Catelin Jones, son Artemis Jones, and son Adam Morgan. Three grandchildren: Dianne, Kiana, and RJ, sister Tena Jones, brother-in-law Kenny Downey, numerous nieces and nephews. Josh was preceded in death by his mother Sandra, father, brother Tuffy, sister Dedra, grandparents, and special nephew Adam.
