Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Friday September 29, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801 with Rev. Nick Beasley officiating, the family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM Saturday September 30, 2023, at Laurel Bank Cemetery for Graveside and Interment services. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Memorial Funeral Home.

John Carl Henry Jr, 57, of Maryville went to be with the Lord on Friday September 22, 2023. He is preceded in death by his Mother: Betty Jane Henry and Father: John Carl Henry Sr. Survivors include Daughter & Son-in-law: Tiffany & Leonard “Tiny” McGill, Granddaughter: Maddie McGill, Sister: Nadine Lindsey, Brothers: Dennis, and Spencer Thomas, Cousins: Greg (Doris) Tipton, Karen (Jimmy) Whitaker, and Eugene (Teresa) Eakins, same as sister Sherry Lockett, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and mother of his daughter Darlene Henry. John started racing go karts, moved to street stock class, and finished in modified class. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Memorial Funeral Home.
