Service Date November 8, 2023
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday November 8, 2023, at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church with Pastor Tommy Boring officiating, the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M., burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.

James Walter “JR” Clabough, age 72, of Alcoa, died Friday, November 3, 2023, at home in the care of his wife Linda Clabough. James was a very hard worker and loved his family. He enjoyed going to church and cutting up. He always had some advice to give and loved very hard. He was preceded in death by his parents, James SR. and Katherine Clabough; sister, Pat, Barbara, Nancy, Jean. Brothers Don and Jack. Survivors include his wife, Linda Clabough; Daughter Maria Clabough, grandchildren; Tegan Clabough, and many nieces and nephews. Please keep the family in your thoughts. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
