James Vance Ledbetter, known as Vance, 32, of Friendsville, Tennessee, passed away on February 29, 2024. He was born on February 12th, 1992, in Maryville , TN to Barb Ailey and James Ledbetter. Vance graduated from William Blount High School and continued his education graduating from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. Vance married the love of his life, Nichole on June 12, 2018, making this one of the best days of his life aside from the births of his two children. He was employed at Genera and enjoyed his time with his fellow co-workers. Vance was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Maryville, Tennessee. He had a personality that could light up a room and always had a tall tale on the ready. He loved and was very dedicated to his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Camping and welding were his favorite hobbies. Playing baseball with his son Paxton brought him great joy. His partner in crime and his dare-devil mini, Peyton, is the apple of his eye. Vance was preceded in death by Grandparents, Alan and Annie Ledbetter, Grandmother, Glenda Brown, Papaw, Don Ailey, Great Grandfather Quinten Vance Gilliland and Uncle Jeff Dunn, and is survived by his wife Nichole, son Paxton, daughter Peyton, Father, James Ledbetter, Mother and Step-Father, Barb and Randy Ailey, Sister and Brother-In-Law, Sierra and Mikael McCarter, Grandfather, Fred Brown , Grandmother, Judy Ailey , Great Grandmother, Jean Gilliland , Great Grandmother Katie Ailey, Aunt, Micki Dunn, Nieces, Adyline, Sophie, Lyla and Kaybree, Nephew, Colton , Mother-In- Law and husband, Sandra and Michael Doolen, Father-In-Law and wife, Roger and Carrie Culler, Brother-In-Law and wife, Kyle and Christine Browning, Brother-In-Laws, Gavin and Garrett Culler and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
