Henry Jeff McDowell, 64, passed away November 13, 2018, at Big Springs Nursing Home in Huntsville, Al. Jeff was born January 20, 1954 in Knoxville, TN, and was of the Baptist faith. Jeff was in sales, prior to his many illnesses, he was a manager of New Horizon. He was preceded in death by his Father: Charles Kenneth McDowell, Brother: Christopher McDowell, Grandparents: Mary Campbell, and Obie and Carrie Blair Henry. He is survived by his Mother: Betty Henry McDowell of Friendsville, TN, Sister: Melissa (Carter) Gingrich of Belgium, and many great uncles, aunts, and cousins. We would like to say thank you to the many people and CO’s who were so special in his life: Emerson Lyle, Frank and his late wife Joy Thomas, Steven and Linda Langford and their sons and families, John Roberts, Nextex Co. and staff, Whitesburg Church and his former Sunday school class, the great staff (through the years) of Careplus, Dr. Burnes, Dr. Smelser, Dr. Johnson, Keeshia Cloud, CRNP, Fresecus Kidney Care, and his last home, Big Springs Nursing Home, for their care and compassion, and their smile that was the sunshine to his day, and to Amedisys Hospice Care for their help, may God shine his blessing on all these great people.
