The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Wednesday February 26, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. with Steve Nuchols and Bob Nuchols officiating. Burial will follow at Old Piney Grove Cemetery.

Helen Alma Nuchols Goins was born on 6/27/1935 in Blount County, TN. She passed away on 2/23/2025 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, James Goins, parents Andy and Margaret Nuchols, brother Ed Nuchols and Bill Nuchols. Helen is survived by sons, Roger and wife Sharon Goins, Gary Goins and partner John Barton, daughter, Tammy Bell and son-in-law Steve Bell. Grandchildren, Ryan Rogers, Chad Goins and wife Mai-linh, Ashley Goins, and Kelsey Bell Watson and husband Omarr. Great grandchildren, Scott Rogers, Kadie Buchanan, Dominic and Ty Goins, and Cain and Eli Burchfield. Brothers, JD Nuchols, Bob Nuchols, and David Nuchols, Sister Shirley Long, and many loving friends. Helen was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
