Rev. Jerry Garner’s body will lie in state at Pleasant View Baptist Church located at 487 Cochran Street, Alcoa, TN 37701 beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022. A memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. at Pleasant View Baptist on Thursday, March 10. Entombment service will take place on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens located at 3176 Airport Highway, Alcoa, TN 37701. Family and Friends are requested to meet at Pleasant View Baptist Church at 10:15 a.m. for processional.

So many memories of Jerry he led the singing at the home coming of Old Chilhowee Baptist church, always was so happy, never left a doubt in anyone's mind that he was a child of God, Jerry was a distance cousin of mind and I always looked forward to the home coming at Old Chilhowee so I could hear him sing. All his uncles were wonderful singers. Jerry will always have a place in each one who ever met him, he was that kind of person. He will be missed.
