Gerald Dean Hembree, 73, passed away at Blount Memorial Hospital February 16, 2024, due to complications of pneumonia. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Molly Cole Henry, two brothers James Jr., and Leo Hembree, and sister Pearl Tallent. Gerald is survived by his children Gerald Jr. of Rockford, and Michael (Erica) of Maryville, grandchildren Tanner Boring of Maryville and Ethan Hembree of Rockford, several nieces, and nephews. Gerald has a second family also David and Jennifer Benson of Maryville, Donnie and Vicki Benson of Rockford, and many step grandchildren and great grandchild, neighbors, friends, and caretakers Kenneth and Linda Coppenger, most importantly the church family at Edgewood Primitive Baptist Church where he received God as his Lord and savior, he will be missed by all.
