George Wagley Pickard of Maryville passed away on May 10th in his home. He was originally from Harrison Arkansas. He attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and received a master’s degree from The University of KY. He worked as a Professional Engineer. George was a strong man of faith and loved people. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Carolyn Raney, one sister Routh Ann Yarbrough. He is survived by his wife, Brenda, one son Jason Pickard and his wife, Michele, two grandchildren Caroline and Hannah, of Raliegh NC, two step children Whitney Walker, husband Pat, Brian Bishop wife, Paula of Athens TN. Two brothers Joe Pickard wife Vicky of Flower Mound TX, Donald Raney and wife Cathy of Searcy Arkansas. One half brother, Robert Pickard and wife Kathy, Clayton MO, one half-sister Patty Stemme and husband Dave of Centralia MO. Several nieces and nephews.
