Thank you George for being one of the kindest people I had the pleasure of meeting at Maryville College. Seeing your smiling face at Pearson's was always a highlight of the day. You will be missed by so many. Rest easy.

As a faculty member at Maryville College who ate lunch regularly at Pearson's, I remember George well. He always had a smile and was so welcoming to all he encountered. To his family, please accept my condolences on your loss.

Loved George! Seems like only yesterday he was a student in Culinary Arts school. He always had a witty comment and was never a bore to chat with. Reminded me of my dad! George exuded an amazing amount of “wisdom”! What a great guy. He will be missed. And his Greek cuisine was hellaciously delicious l, too! ✝️

I knew George as a student at Maryville College, and his kindness and warmth made us all feel like family. Chatting and joking with him eased the times when I felt homesick and brightened the days when I might have just been stressed otherwise. He was a generous and loving person that I am grateful to have crossed paths with.

I knew George from my time at Maryville College and seeing him in the dining hall always brought a feeling of comfort and safety. He was always smiling and known for making the most delicious food, creating long lines at whatever station he was working. Thankful his path led him to working at MC.

I knew George from Maryville College. He always had a smile for everyone and was so pleasant to speak to. Even after he left the cafeteria, I would see him around campus and he always spoke. What a great man. My condolences to the family.

I was George & Linda’s babysitter in Simi Valley. George taught me all about music at a young age, especially Ray Charles one of his favorites! I still recall him sitting in his chair, smoking his pipe & listening to Ray Charles! RIP George

George Nasser was the measure of love and hospitality at Maryville College. Whether he was serving hummus in Pearson's or cheering our teams on in the stands, he always made students feel cared about. George, we loved you, too. Always.
