Funeral services will be held 7:00 P.M. Saturday July 13, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Swaney officiating. Family and friends will all meet 2:00 P.M. Sunday July 14, 2019 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Greenback for a graveside service. The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

George Ed Hammontree, age 83 of Greenback, passed away Wednesday July 10, 2019 at Fair Park. He was preceded in death by Parents: Fred and Myrtle Hammontree. He is survived by his Wife: Betty of 62 years, Son: Steve (Donna) Hammontree, Daughter: Debra (Rick) Holt, Grandchildren: Heather Keeble and David Hammontree, Special Great Grandchild: Keilei Goins, 2 Sisters: Shirlee and Carolyn, Special Cousins: Charlene and Wayne Walker, a host of special brothers and sisters-in-law, and Special Friend: Joe Benson.
