Fred H Redmond age 85 of Maryville, TN, died peacefully and went home to be with our Lord whom he loved deeply, on Saturday November 13, 2021. Fred was a survivor whom endured Parkinson’s and a weak heart for the last 15 years yet managed to remain passionately within his home up to his calling.

Fred was born in Tazewell TN, grew up in Beckley W.V., graduated Woodrow Wilson High School. He had also lived in Anchorage, Alaska; Detroit Michigan; Chardon, Ohio; and retired to Corryton and Maryville TN. He proudly served 4 years as an Airman for the U.S. Air Force and later worked for General Motors in Supervision over auto manufacturing, earning numerous awards of excellence and achievement through his 25 plus years of service. In retirement he had a passion for raising cattle and farming with a number of satellite lactations for the cattle. He enjoyed working the land, bailing hey, feeding the animals, fixing numerous fences and chasing the escaping cattle and donkeys. In addition, Fred had built, owned, and operated a number of rentals to support his retirement goals. He owned a vending business with chartable contributions.

Fred enjoyed, water skiing, boating, baseball, motorcycling, snow-mobiling in the northern states that he had lived in, building up and maintaining dune buggies, and had a passion for restoring vintage automobiles in his more active days.

Fred was an endowed Master Mason and had a deep faithful following of our Lord whom he has joined, may he rest in peace. He is preceded in death by Parents: Shelby and Bobbie Redmond, Sister: Margie King, and Wife: Brenda Redmond.

He is survived by Children: Randall and wife Elena Redmond (Houston); Fronna Redmond (Anchorage); Frederick and wife Christy Redmond (Maryville); and Trisha Lusby (Rutledge). (8) Grandchildren; Mariah, Garrett, Haily, Josie, Samuall, Madison, Andrey, and Alysa and (3) Great Grandchildren; Aida, Waylon, and Ayven, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Fred had many near and dear friends throughout his lifetime, among the few that provided abundant kindness and support while enduring his final years of health challenges were Benny and Ann Whitehead of Maryville TN, and Bill and Martha Rose of Corryton TN.
