Pastor Everett E. Evans age 94 years young, of the Greenback, TN community, on May 24, 2019 at 9:20 a.m. at his home took his (Heavenly Flight), Pastor Evans was a pastor of Old Fashioned Independent Missionary Baptist church for 36 years. His ministry doing the Lord’s work led him to organize numerous Churches in different States for 70 years. Over his 70 years he was able to bring many souls to the lord. His light has shined so bright that it will never fade, we will all be able to see it from heaven. His work here may be done but now he can take his seat next to the right hand of our heavenly father and be where he has always tried so hard to be. Granddad, Pastor, Mentor, and Friend you are finally now at rest and I know you are rejoicing and being rewarded for your humbleness and Non-Stop loyal work. He was the son of the late Ellis N. Evans Sr. and Lottie Belle Owens which preceded him in death Everette‘s wife and (Sweetheart / Peaches) Jewel A. (Hurst) Evans. He was the oldest of 9 brothers and the longest living last of the Evan’s Brothers. He is preceded in death by his Brothers: Roy, Owen, Ellis Jr, Clarence, Arnold Lee, Coy, Kenneth, infant Troy Evans, Sisters in law: Mildred, June, and Mildred, Granddaughter Tammy Jean Evans. He is survived by Daughter Evelyn (Fred) Goforth, Son: William R (Janet) Evans, Grandchildren: Rhonda (Harold) Hawkins, Connie (Jerry) Jones, Bert W (Tammy) Green, Tony R. (Dawn) Evans, Tim (Tammy) Evans, Sisters in law: Edna Evans, Willie Clyde Evans, Carol Evans, Geneva Evans, and Virginia Evans. He was blessed with numerous Great, and Great-Greatgrandchildren, and he dearly loved his nieces, nephews, and family and friends.
