Funeral services will be held at Grandview Cemetery Pavillion on Monday October 20, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. With Pastor Tom Hatley, and Thomas Vananda officiating. The family invites all who knew and loved him to join in celebrating his life and the promise of his eternal home.

Eugene Jones of Maryville, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was a faithful man whose love for God and family shone brightly in all he did. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mollie Jones, whom he missed dearly. Together, they built a life full of faith, laughter, and love. Eugene worked for Kroger for over 30 years, where he made lifelong friendships and was known for his strong work ethic and kind spirit. A proud Tennessee Volunteers fan, he could often be found cheering on the Vols and sharing his love of the team with family and friends. His faith in God guided his life, and his gentle strength and kindness touched everyone who knew him. He was the rock of his family and friends — the one everyone looked to for steady love, wisdom, and support. He will be truly missed but forever remembered for his unwavering faith, his love for his family, and the legacy of warmth and devotion he leaves behind.
