Friends may call at their convenience 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Sunday, March 21, 2020 at Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, March 21, 2020 at Centenary Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Tony Collins officiating. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the leadership and staff at Fairpark Nursing and Rehab for their support and kindness. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Broadway Baptist Church in her name.

Emma Kathleen Phelps, age 94 of Maryville, passed on March 19, 2020. She was preceded in death by husband of 59 years Charles A. Phelps Jr., parents Roy and Mayme Clabough, son Donald Lynn Phelps Sr., and brother Bill Clabough. Kathleen is survived by son Alan Phelps (Angela), daughter Janice Hazlewood, brothers EM Clabough and Charles Clabough, daughter-in -law Lavonda Phelps, grandchildren Lynn Phelps (Erin), Justin Hazlewood, Emilee Phelps, and Allie Phelps, and three great-grandchildren. She was a long-time member of Broadway Baptist Church and served in the nursery for over fifty years. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the leadership and staff at Fairpark Nursing and Rehab for their support and kindness. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Broadway Baptist Church in her name.
