The family and friends will gather at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville at 1:00 PM Monday March 20, 2023, FOR Graveside Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Saint Jude’s hospital in her memory.

Elizabeth (Libby) Rowena Davis Chambers age 76 of Maryville went to be with the Lord March 17, 2023, she was surrounded by her beloved family. Libby was a loving and devoted wife to her husband of 59 years Houston Chambers Jr. She was also an amazing loving mother and grandmother to her daughters and grandchildren. Libby was a member of Piney level Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and was a faithful witness to many. After eight years of battling cancer, she fought a good fight, kept her faith, and finished the course. Libby was a kind loving friend to all. Her smile was contagious, and she took happiness everywhere she went. Libby is preceded in death by her father and mother: George and Gladys Davis, her brother: William Luther Davis. Libby is survived by her beloved husband: Houston Chambers Jr. Daughters Margie and Buddy Hicks, Pamela and Marty Goodman, Granddaughters: Anna and Patrick Brown, Becky and Josh Kerr, Great Grandchildren: Cade, Anders, and Luke Keeble. Loved Sister: Janice Russell, and Sister-in-law: Delores Davis. Many special Nieces, and Nephews, and many friends. Heaven is a brighter place because Libby (Mom) is there.
